Terms and Conditions

1. Premise

Booking confirmation implies full acceptance of these General Conditions. Activities are organized by Siberiana Husky Sleddog S.S.D. a R.L., affiliated with CSEN.
Participation is subject to full understanding and acceptance of what is stated herein.

2. Participation Requirements

• Good general physical condition.
• No physical limitations that prevent maintaining a stable position on the sled or following safety instructions.
• No severe heart condition.
• No recent physical trauma that has not fully healed.
• PREGNANT WOMEN CANNOT PARTICIPATE.

Maximum allowed weight: 100 kg (including clothing and footwear).

Medical Certificate

To benefit from CSEN insurance coverage, participants must hold a non-competitive medical certificate for amateur sports activities, valid for ASD/SSD affiliated with an EPS recognized by CONI.
The certificate must be held by all participants aged 9 and over.

Membership and Required Data

As an amateur sports company, to participate in our activities it is necessary to register (membership/“tessera”) all participants according to the required procedures (EPS affiliation/insurance). Therefore, providing the requested personal data is mandatory.

Anyone who refuses to provide their data, or provides incomplete/false data, will not be allowed to participate and will not be refunded.

3. How the Activity Works

The activity includes an introductory lesson of about 15 minutes with safety instructions.
The duration of the excursion may vary depending on the dogs’ condition, weather, and operational needs; the musher may change or shorten the route for safety reasons.

• Any doubts or withdrawals must be communicated before departure.
• In case of withdrawal, no refund is due.

4. Rules of Conduct

• It is forbidden to attend under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• It is forbidden to bring pets into briefing areas or on the route.
• Instructors may exclude, without refund, anyone deemed physically or behaviorally unfit for safety reasons.

Children

At departure, dogs’ excitement and barking may cause fear. Parents must assist and reassure their children. Withdrawals due to fear or hesitation do not entitle to a refund.

Weight Verification

The declared weight may be verified at any time. In case of discrepancies:

• we may require an adjustment of the price or the type of excursion;
• if the weight exceeds 100 kg or the booking cannot be adapted, no refund is due.

Refusal to undergo weight verification results in exclusion from the activity without refund.

5. Clothing

• Winter gloves
• Sunglasses
• Technical mountain clothing

SKI BOOTS and unsuitable footwear are strictly forbidden.

Staff may deny participation if clothing does not guarantee safety, without entitlement to a refund.

6. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation or changes without penalties: up to 72 hours before the excursion date.
The following are non-refundable:

• bank fees (€4),

Within the last 72 hours:

• no refund and no changes are possible.
• Exception only for documented medical reasons: refund limited to the unwell participant and one accompanying adult in case of a minor participant.

Medical documentation/certificate must be sent within 12 hours from the cancellation notice, by email, in order to benefit from the exception.

Weather

Weather does not entitle to a refund if the activity can be carried out safely.
The assessment is exclusively up to our staff.

In case of No-Show: no refund.

7. Date Change

Date change or voucher request without penalties: up to 72 hours before the excursion.
From the third day before the excursion, changes or voucher issuance are no longer allowed.
Requests must be sent from the same email used during booking.

7-bis. Rescheduling Due to Operational Needs

Siberiana Husky Sleddog S.S.D. a R.L. reserves the right to reschedule the booking (date and/or time) due to internal organizational and operational needs, with prior notice to the customer.

If the customer cannot or does not wish to accept the proposed change, a refund of the amount paid will be issued (net of any non-refundable bank fees indicated in these conditions).

8. Vouchers

Validity:
Vouchers are valid until March 31 following the purchase date.

Vouchers are:

• usable only with prior booking,
• non-refundable,

Voucher use is subject to suitable environmental conditions for carrying out the activity, in particular the presence of sufficient snow.

If natural snowfall is delayed (for example until January) or is insufficient, vouchers cannot be used until the required conditions are restored.

Lack of snow does not entitle to a refund, as vouchers remain valid until March 31 following the purchase date.

Early end of the season

In case of early season closure: extension is limited to the period between the closure date and March 31 of the following season.
To use an extended voucher, it is mandatory to email info@siberianahuskysleddog.com in advance.

Without prior communication, the voucher cannot be used.

9. Punctuality

You must arrive 10 minutes before the booked time.
Late arrivals cannot participate and will not be refunded.

10. Jurisdiction

For any dispute, exclusive jurisdiction lies with the Court of Cuneo (Italy).
